| Doug & Misty Buy A House |

This is the house purchased by Doug and Misty. It is very red. |
They bought it because Misty couldn't part with her cats and Lewiston landlords aren't very keen on pets. |

| Doug & Misty's house search took them many places. | They saw some rather nice homes . . . | ||

 . . . and some pretty weird stuff. |
|
Some places were just too small.
|
Some, frankly, needed a lot of work. |
The houses Misty liked, Doug didn't. And so on.
|
|
Then they found the little red lobster trap,
|
and it was just right. |
It had everything they could have asked for:
|
|
 a quiet, wooded neighborhood; |
|
a cozy backyard, complete with roses;
|
an enclosed patio;
|
and a place for Doug to store his tools.
|
It even has a ball court, where they plan to settle all their marital disputes. |

| After a great
deal of money exchanged hands, the proud new owners took possession on
September 11.

 Doug set to work right away getting things in order. |
 Sometimes Misty helped. |
Doug's parents spent most of their visit
painting, fixing, and setting things up.

| Granted, there are some adjustments for the new co-habiters to make. |
Doug's decorating style differs from Misty's. |
Doug does things like alphabetize the spice cabinet.
|
 Misty can't bake to save her life. |
| Nevertheless, they truly feel fortunate to have a place to call their own. |

And the cats have settled right in.
